Program Creative Retreat

In our opinion, a creative retreat means you can immerse yourself in creativity and joy, but with space to breathe and rest. We are working on a program that will live up to your expectations. Below you will find the program as it has been planned at this moment, but small changes may occur.

Participation in all activities is voluntary.

Optional: to maximize your Creative Weekend, we suggest a visit to a local museum or art gallery on Sunday afternoon.

In this workshop you will learn water color techniques, experiment with different kinds of paper and practice with the use of colors. You will get tips and tricks on how to set up your painting, learn about contrast and adding depth. After the introduction, you will pick a spot somewhere on the premises to sit down, enjoy your surroundings and paint your view.

In the Kindness rocks workshop we will write on and paint rocks with words or phrases to inspire or share kindness, with the intention of hiding them for someone else to find. The fun part of making kindness rocks is that it wires your brain with the joy of creating something someone else will love, yet without ever getting the satisfaction of knowing who finds them how much they love it. It’s about the pure intention of kindness and creating something that will last for years and maybe even decades!

There are many ways to create unique prints, or so called mono prints. In this workshop we highlight some techniques that are not complicated and can be done at home as well. The techniques will include gelli plate printing, cyano type and block printing.
